Rishab's Cloud adventures - April
Things I have been upto in the world of Cloud Computing and DevOps in April, 2023
For all Python enthusiasts, I have an exciting resource to share! I created a guide, or more of a challenge, specifically for individuals interested in Cloud and DevOps.
7 Days Of Python Challenge
Hey there, I'd like to start by saying that I created this repository as a resource for those who are new to Python and want to learn it for Cloud Computing or DevOps career. However, I'd like to emphasise that using you cannot become a Python expert in 7 days, and this repository does not automatically turn you into a Python expert. It is only a starting point for you to gain a basic understanding of the language and some related concepts. Python is a vast and ever-changing language, and becoming an expert takes time and practise. I hope this disclaimer clears up any misunderstandings and assists you in approaching this resource with realistic expectations.
I did some writing
If you're like me, a developer who has used Terraform for your IaC needs in the past, Pulumi offers an alternative that allows you to write code in your preferred programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, .NET, and Java) to provision and manage cloud infrastructure. In this blog post, we will walk through the steps to deploy a static website to Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Pulumi, ps: this is my first time trying it out.
You can read the blog here.
A project in Cloud
So, some of you might already know about the Cloud Resume Challenge. I started a YouTube series where I document my attempt for the AWS version of the challenge.
And the good news is we are almost done with the challenge, so if you are looking for a hands-on project in Cloud, check out the playlist.
ps: the playlist is at 1000+ views now :)
A poll for you
I attended PyCON in Salt Lake City, and gave a lightning talk!
This was my first PyCON!
Well, that wraps up my April, I will see you next month :)
